Lose yourself, Love your companion, Learn Espanol!

HOLA!
GRACIAS MUCHOS for the letters everyone.  AND the package oh my goodness the chocolate was much appreciated by everyone here! This week flew by I cannot believe it is already Friday!  That is the thing here the days are long but the weeks fly.
I've come to the conclusion that the MTC is bizarre but awesome at the same time.  You come out of every class, meeting, devotional, competely wowed.  I have learned so much already and am trying to soak up as much as I possibly can NOW!  Our devotional this week was Elder Hinckley, President Hinckley's son.  He gave an excellent talk focusing on the importance of hard work.  My favorite quote from him was " If a man has any greatness in him, it will come from the daily ledgert of his work."  Work hard is all I keep telling myself honestly.  Espagnol is stinkin hard especially when I keep switching into Francais haha!  But we work with the Elders that are about to leave and it is incredible what you can learn in a matter of 8 weeks here.  They sound fluent to me.  The gift of tongues is something we hear all the time.  Don't give up don't give up you will be surprised what can come out of your mouth!  We can pray and bear our testimonies en espagnol now.  In fact we run around the MTC just bearing our testimonies in Spanish to random missionaries.  You meet some interesting people that way.  In fact I just ran into an Elder from Holland he was like Holland is everywhere here, your a Hermana Holland theres a Jeffrey R Holland so weird haha He was enjoying his first Reeses PB Cup ever haha!   We taught our first little lesson in Spanish yesterday and that was an experience haha a humbling one for sure.  But the key here is not to doubt.  I know if I do my best the Lord makes up for the rest.  I've seen it multiple times...it is incredible what he can make happen.
My motto this week has been
1. Lose yourself
2. Love your companion
3. Learn Espanol!!!!!
One of the most important things I am learning is that this is not for me.  The Lord's work will get done no matter what.  I am learning Spanish for him, not so I can travel after this and speak Spanish.  In fact my Spanish will probably be different than many of the other Spanish Speaking Countries...Mexican Spanish they say haha... anyways this is hard.  But you can't help but say you love it.  Something else.  Some Elders asked us the other day if we had cried yet...we said no, and I asked them if they had.  There answer was, "Real men don't cry, they take showers!" hahaha I thought that was pretty clever and true...for the most part.
In response to the letter from everyone, the best way to communicate with me while I am at the MTC at least is through Dear Elder because I only have 30 min on email to write you and I want to say as much as possible.  I will know more when I get to New Mexico what the deal is there.  Thanks for the driving/bike forms I sent them in not such a good record the past two months haha...ill prob end up on a bike:)
Quick testimonio en espagnol forgive my spelling:
Yo se que JesuCristo y Dios viven, Y JesuCristo expio por los pecados de totas la humanidad.  JesuCristo ama nosotros muchos.  El Libre de Morman es la palabra de Dios.
En el nombre de JesuCristo Amen
Simple and probably sounds like cave man talk but hey...im trying!
Love you all so much, Gracias for all the letters and packages they make my Day BIG TIME!!!!
Hermana Holland
