¡Español siempre!

Hola everyone!!
Another week..Grandma G thanks a million for the treats.  We a had a party last night:)  As much as you can party here at the MTC.  Gladys cookies are my favorite!!  Got the shoes thanks Mom.  Sounds like everyone is doing well.  And Holly and Alex are here in Provo MAN! HOMBRE!!...sorry wish i could see you guys.  Enjoy conference I know I will:)
Ok so things i've learned this week:
Patience is key..with everything.  Not only Spanish.  This week our goal was total week in SPANISH.  No English when you can speak spanish.  It sure gives me a headache but it is so cool what you can say when you force yourself not to give up.  We taught multiple lessons in Spanish with progressing investigators...and this week is our first time giving the entire leccion 1 in Espanol!!! Wohoo  We will see how it all goes:)
The gift of tongues is real people!  When I have faith and don't rely only on my mind.
I havent thrown my spanish book in the trash and ran out yet dad, but there have been times my mind just wants to give up.  I won't let it :)  I may not be the best Spanish speaker in my district, but I have come a very long way in 1 week when I look back.  And that is because I tried really hard to speak spanish always...towards the end of the week we all started getting a little lazy jajaja haha!
Cool thing I learned in Mission Conference:
God chooses to see the good in us.  Sometimes we don't give ourselves enough credit.
Satan looks for the bad, God looks for the good and they both find what they are looking for!
They also talked about how our first language is the language of our hearts and that is why we learn a language and teach someone in Spanish eventhough they may also know English.  I think of listening to a lesson in Spanish as opposed to English...it means more to me in English.  When I teach native mexicans or whoever they may be, if I can teach in Espanol it will more easily touch their hearts.
Quite the challenge but one that is most definitiely possible seeing as i have only been here 5 weeks and can teach lessons in spanish as cave man as it may sound.
Well all I love you so much.  Thanks for all the letters and the love.  I miss you all and hope you really enjoy conference. The Elders get to sing in the Priesthood session too bad we just missed that..if they were singing in the afternoon the Hermanas would have gotten to go!  Oh well. You will probably see one of the Elders in my Distric on Camera!
Hermana Batchkoff and I are going strong.  Keeping it real here:)  Never a dull moment.  She is seriously the happiest and most patient person ever.  We learn a lot from each other and I am sincerely blessed to have her here!
I love you all so much.
Have a great week and enjoy Pootah Alex and Holly!
Con Amor,
Hermana Holland
